I recently visited the beautiful city of Montevideo, Uruguay, and dwelt into some of the famous writer who have called the city home: Eduardo Galeano, Horacio Quiroga, and not least among them the great poet and writer Mario Benedetti.
Besides his books and poems, Benedetti is admired for his immense number of one-liners that inspire and awaken. Many are about the passions that assault us when in love.
